Meet Dr. Kim

Taera Kim, DMD, CAGS, MSD

Orthodontist

Dr. Taera Kim grew up in California and received a B.S. degree in Biochemistry at UCLA. She received her dental degree from Boston University and graduated with high honors.

She completed her residency training in Orthodontics and received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research at Boston University.

Dr. Kim is a recipient of numerous scholarship awards such as Lloyd B. Chaisson Memorial Award, Community Outreach Appreciation Award, Special Olympics Appreciation Award and others.

Dr. Kim is a member of the Honor Dental Society – Omicron Kappa Upsilon and holds memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists® and the Midwest Society of Orthodontists. She loves being at the forefront of the innovation with main focus on airway expansion in non-growing adults as well as maximizing growth potential in young patients.

Dr. Kim is now taking new orthodontic patients in La Vista, Omaha Sarpy County and surrounding areas.
